Kaylee started preschool today. She has been so excited, she had the hardest time falling asleep last night. She did great, she walked right in and started painting. I of course had to linger for a few minutes, because of the separation anxiety I, as her mommy was feeling!!! Dallin and Alyssa were also missing her, they cried when she got of the car to go into school. Way to Go Kaylee!!!

Walk to the River
We have the luxury of living really close to the American River. There is a trail head down the street from where we live. Yesterday, we took the kids for a walk, and Kaylee rode her bike to the river, its about a 4 mile walk there and back. Grandma, Grandpa and Stacey met us there, and we had a little picnic. It was cool in the morning, so we decided not to put the kids in their bathing suits, big mistake! They of course couldn't stay out of the water! The county provides free life jackets for day use of the river, because the currrents can be fast, and the water is cold. The area we were at is very calm, but when all three kids get in the water at the same time, it makes me feel better to have the life jackets on them.

Wedding Outfits
I put the kids in their outfits that they wore for Ashley's wedding. They did not cooperate as well as I would have liked, oh well!!

so fun that river is so close to you guys! i love the picture of the kids sitting in the water. it looks like aly is trying to figure out why she is sitting in the water in her clothes; and dallin just thinks it's great to be wet and dirty (all boy!)
the picture of kk and aly-jane hugging is really precious
The kids look adorable in their wedding attire. I always love a reason to dress my girls up!
