Yesterday, Kaylee was playing outside and was running, and fell down. She scraped up her knee pretty good, her scrape was about the size of a half dollar. Of course, she started crying, Josh picked her up (I wasn't home) and cleaned up her owie. Since she fell, she has refused to walk, she keeps complaining her knee hurts and can't walk. At first, we thought she would get over it in a couple of hours (one could wish...right). We have had to carry her to the bathroom, hold her in the shower, carry her to bed, carry her to the table etc... So finally this morning after trying every trick in the book, bribing her with a trip to the park, buying her the butterfly barbie she really wants, taking her swimming, etc (Nothing worked)... We finally decided to take her to the Doctor. The Dr thinks it is just bruised, they took x-rays, which we are waiting for the radiologist to look at. (The Dr looked at them and thought they were fine, but wanted to double check). They cleaned it and wrapped it in a ace bandage and sent us home. Well, It is now 8:00pm and she is still not walking, or putting any pressure on it. I am really puzzled she has never acted like this before, looking at the scrape you wouldn't think it hurt that bad. It must just be another of life's mysteries!!!
As long as we are not trying to get her to walk she is happy. You should hear the cries of agony she lets out when we get her to try and walk! (Better bring your earplugs and thick skin! Because man o' man it breaks your heart!)
****On a side note, Dallin is doing better, he is finally getting back to his happy, laid back disposition... YEAH!!!!!

Well, you know, you'd just might as well get each of them in and out at the same time! We'll just call you efficient! ;-) Hope she's okay and I'm glad to hear that Dallin is feeling better! Hang in there, Dr. Amy!
I hope she feels better soon. Maybe she just wanted recognition on the blog, too.
